Instaread offers two subscription options: Monthly subscription and a Yearly subscription (with first week FREE). Cancel subscription anytime. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period at the price of the annual or monthly subscription depending on what is chosen. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you change from an annual to a monthly subscription or from a monthly to an annual subscription during the free trial period.

Ratings and reviews

I got this several months ago when I didn't have a chance to finish my book club book before the meeting. I used Facebook to login and create an account. I now am getting charged for it and it glitches when I try to sign in so I can't login to cancel it. I'm replacing the credit card I used so it's about to be a non issue but I have tried multiple ways to get into my account and been unsuccessful.

This app is not for me I'm afraid. It's not a TTS app, it's a subscription service book reader app from what I can surmise, but at £85.99 per year, or £8.49 per month, I can't afford to find out for sure. It seems more akin to audible from what I can see, as in the book is read out loud to you, or you can read it yourself. Each book seems to be approx 25mins long, ideal for a lunch break, but is nothing compared to audibles books that are anything upto 30+hrs or more.

I paid for the monthly but i don't know if it went through. I downloaded articles for offline use, but when I'm not connected to the internet, I cannot even access them. Even when I'm online and has a stable internet, the audio automatically stops and I kept on pressing play/pause over and over again so it would work again. I like the app BUT PLEASE IMPROVE SERVICES.
