Hexpedition is a turn based hex strategy and mental math game where every move is a timed decision. Draw a hidden tile, then you have 4 seconds to rotate and place it or lose the turn.
How to play:
Draw 1 face down hex tile
4 seconds to place it
Match colors on touching edges
Do the math to maximize your score
Fair, random tiles
Each tile has the same 6 colors: Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Black, White
But the numbers change every time:
Each color gets a number 1–6
Every tile uses 1,2,3,4,5,6 once each (no repeats)
Scoring (the math part)
For every color match you make, score:
Your number + neighbor’s number on that color
Example: Red 6 + Red 1 = 7
Real pressure, no frustration
Time runs out → tile is discarded
You vs AI (no cheating)
The AI follows the same rules and can’t see future tiles only smart placement wins.
Game ends when both pockets are empty. Highest score wins.
Flip a tile. Match colors. Do the math. Score big in 4 seconds.
