There's a function to add/register bottles that have been purchased to this app. After 2 minutes of trying, I gave up and then was surprised to see a notification about it being successfully added the next day lol. My second bottle hasn't been so lucky. The app really doesn't seem to do much so it's not a big deal to me. Just adding info so others can save their time/effort if they experience something similar - don't waste your time!

Thank you for your feedback. Once you have registered your bottle, you can scan it to record refills. We fund a collection of 5 plastic bottles for each refill recorded on the app. If you're still unable to register the 2nd bottle please reach out to our support team at ahoy@oceanbottle.co so we can help.

it's nice knowing that just by drinking some water, I'm funding the collection of ocean bound plastic... no matter how small that contribution is. I just ask one thing: please allow me to scan my bottles for recording refills again. I have several, and scanning them would be easier than selecting which one I've refilled from the list. In response to the developer reply: Yes I know. that's my complaint!

Thank you for the review! We're happy to have your support. The 'NFC scan to refill' requirement has been removed in the recent app update. As long as you have a bottle registered, you can now just tap a button to log a refill, and it will be logged without scanning. I love this app! I think it's great to see at a glance the incredibly positive impact filling a water bottle can do, as well as being able to see how many times each bottle has been filled. I love being able to see how many disposable coffee cups I've prevented being used! I found it really easy and quick to register each bottle, and the app works with no issues or problems.
