This app doesn't deserve such a low rating. I think it's the learning curve. This is day two with the app, and I already love it. At first it want working, meaning there were no red counters anywhere, email, messages.. But then they showed up, just like I wanted them, like on iOS. I'm still trying to figure everything out, I can't get my apps on favorite dock on bottom to show any counters. I def recommend this app. Double thumbs👍

It sort of does what it's supposed to. It will display the number of pending messages on whatever app you are using it for (email, messages, etc...) which is great. But if you have multiple emails, open one and leave the others as unread it will clear ALL dot notifications. To be clear, it doesn't mark the emails as read in the app, but it removes the red dot with the numbers completely, even if there are remaining unread emails or messages. This app is about a 50% solution.

In the app description, it states that the badge counter will behave the same as IOS. So I expected the unread count remains even after I swipe away the notifications, unless I actually read the emails/messages. It appears that this feature was supported before, as "native counting" is still in the setup guide. However, in reality "native counting" option is not available anymore, and the badge counter behaves just like these in other free android launchers; which makes this app worth nothing!
