This app does not shut up!! This app is nice because I can order coffee ahead whether I'm at the cafe near my house or the cafe near my work. However, the notifications almost make me want to delete it. They will not. Shut. Up. It sends me multiple marketing notifications and emails a day. I could only choose between all notifications or no notifications, so I had no choice but to turn them all off. I would have liked to keep the order status updates.

You have to preload credit to the app in minimum increments of $10, so you will always carry some residual unused amount. I requested a refund of the remaining balance and never received it (it's supposed to be issued to the credit card on file). Yet my balance on the app is showing $0. Customer service has been slow and after several follow ups over the weeks they are finally investigating. Don't use; you'll end up losing money that you could have went to tip your barista.

I love this app and what it does, and the feature to let you delay your pick up time is great, butcustomizing of drinks in your order could be better. The dropdown menus are sometimes confusing/you can't order every thing the way you could in person, though the barista note option is something I always wanted from the Starbucks App. For some reason whenever I order, the options (add whip cream or whole milk) show up on my barista's end as whip cream none or whole milk none. Confusing for her.
