Color Identification is a simple application for recognising colour names. The application provides HTML (CSS colour), the RGB designation and RAL code of the checked area.
Color Identification also finds the name of the colour. App also has a list of colours (over 1500 colours) for searching by name.
The application also allows you to convert colors between the most popular color standards: RGB, HSV, HSL, CMYK, HTML (HEX)

Can't disable flash. Rotating the phone clears the identified color.

It's a huge help to the colourblind! I'm red green colourblind, but it's important to me to identify green since I'm allergic to blue food dye, which means no green or purple foods. It always scares me when someone gives me a cookie that could either be red or green. I made sure the app works by testing it with my friend with full colour vision, and he said it works perfectly. Now I don't have to fear red food anymore since I can identify it now!

Works well but is not accurate. My wall is a beige colour.. Says it's a grey. Tried in different lights and locations and walls..but still various shades of grey or silver. Great idea though.
