Upgrade to the paid version to unlock user bits, more framerates including 29.97 (NDF or DF) and 23.976, and the option to start timecode at a custom time instead of time of day.

Synced great with my Tascam DR-701D via BNC. I did notice a difference of a few frames though between the app and recorder, but it did not drift at all for 4 hours, so all good. I'm hoping to use to record in free-run so I hope the camera being used will sync with it. It's clearly designed to give equipment a taste of smpte for free-run as it won't run in background, so not usable for people wanting to shoot on their 4K phones.

I've been wanting an app like this for a while to test studio clocks that read SMPTE time code. Those Wharton and Masterclock generator units are so expensive. I can't wait for my next studio build so I can try it out. For now. I'll give you 5 Stars. I'll come back and change it if it doesn't work. Off hand it "Sounds" like time code that I hear when I use my Probe in the above mentioned boxes. Great Job! EDIT: Can't believe I downloaded this 5 years ago. I have been recommending it to my clients when their Studio clock time code generator blows (it happens often). So far it's worked flawlessly.

I was using this on my previous phone with no issues. I got a new phone and used the same Google Play account to reinstall all of my paid apps. This is the only app that asked me to pay for it again. I emailed the developer and he sounded agreeable to help but then he stopped responding to my emails. I have paid for an app that I no longer have access to.
