Railbound is a comfy track-bending puzzle game about a pair of dogs on a train journey around the world.

Connect and sever railways across different landscapes, and help everyone reach their homes. Solve over 240 clever puzzles ranging from gentle slopes to twisted passageways.

BEND RAILS TO MAKE THE TRAIN GO ‘CHOO-CHOO’
Place, remove and reroute connections so that carriages safely connect to the locomotive. But, be careful and don’t make them run into each other!

there's a lot to like, but it's missing something important: the ability to have more track than is alotted for drafting solutions. even if it won't accept a solution with too much track, it'd be helpful to have extra track to think through how to use less. ultimately, I want a game mode that allows solutions with extra track, but informs the solver than they have not found the optimal solution. this would encourage players through iterative improvement & study, instead of a binary right/wrong

Before I start, I MUST talk about the graphics! SOO pretty! The different environments are just beautiful. Gameplay is fun, allowing you to get creative to try to get both train pieces to the train in the correct order. I must admit that it gets a LOT harder when you progress further in the game. Love how the characters are animals. The Cutscenes are cute! No adds! And you can play offline! Love this game! Definitely recommend!

It's fun and I got to level 8, but after a while it kind of feels like a slog. I ended up stopping when I realized I was relying way too much on the hint system. Ended up clearing my save so I'm not tempted to go back. I tend to get too addicted to these types of puzzle games so best for me to quit.
