About this app

WordBaby is an educational app designed to help toddlers and young kids expand their vocabulary in a fun and interactive way. Inspired by "First 100" books, it introduces children to new words with high-quality photos, a colorful interface, natural-sounding AI narration, and a playful quiz mode.

As a parent, I wanted a safe, simple, and engaging way for my daughter to learn new words – without ads, distractions, or intrusive tracking. When I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for, I decided to create WordBaby.

Two Fun Learning Modes:
📖 Book Mode – Let your child explore words at their own pace. Parents can read aloud or enable natural AI narration, which pronounces each word when an image is tapped.
🎯 Quiz Mode – The AI narrator says a word, and the child must tap the correct image. No pressure, just playful learning!

Designed for Parents and Kids:
🔹 Multi-Language Support – Available in English and Danish, with more languages on the way.
🔹 Natural AI Narration – Toggle narration on or off for independent or guided play.
🔹 Parental Controls – Set up a PIN code to protect settings and prevent app exits. You can also lock the app in place to ensure your child stays within the learning experience.
🔹 Ad-Free & Private – No ads, no intrusive tracking. Optional anonymous data collection (which can be disabled) helps improve the app. I never sell or share your data with third parties, and you can opt out at any time.

What’s new

This update patches the app after Unity discovered a security issue in the engine. The issue was unrelated to WordBaby, but rebuilding with the latest secure Unity version ensures the app remains fully protected and up to date. No content changes have been made.
