The latest version automatically saves the converted file with the same name as the original file (unless you change it manually). This deletes the original file and even worse, if the conversion fails before completion, there is only a corrupted file left. This needs to be reverted immediately!! Edit: Name settings can be changed manually to include the timestamp by default which prevents overwriting. However, I think this should be the default setting and not changed without notice to the user

You may go to Settings and turn on the option "Timestamp to output file". And we recommend that you set the output folder to one that is NOT in any of the "scan folders"

I went to use the app so I could convert a video to a different format. The app asked me to select a folder so I can browse my files so I could convert them. When I selected a folder it added it twice. Removed one so I wouldn't have duplicates of that folder. And what happened next was a disaster. It completely deleted the folder off of my phone and now it's gone forever. I'm very upset with this MAJOR ISSUE. It never said it would delete files permanently from my phone.

We are sorry that a top folder was deleted unexpectedly because the app did not state clearly enough when deleting a top level folder. This issue is addressed in latest update.

It used to be easy to use and converted all my .m3u8 files to .mp4 with no problem. Now, no matter what the source the app says "the format is not recognized " Please revert the app back to it's previous useful state and slowly reapply the UI changes you believe to be an improvement. The sweeping changes made swept the utility of this app right out with the old UI.
