About this game

An ancient demon has risen, and his vicious powers plague the world. Forest spirits have awoken an archer from the past to save the day! The demon is always one step ahead, leaving behind a never-ending trail of rock-hard shards. You’ll never know which shapes or forms you’ll meet next! Destroy or avoid them, and you will hunt him down.

In A Kindling Forest, you play as our hero, aided by forest spirits. Aim and shoot your way through five levels in this cute, average auto-runner.

Beware! The arrows you collect along the way are the forest spirits. Use them wisely, as they are also your life count. Run out of arrows, and you will perish.

Use checkpoints to start over if you’ve learned a more efficient way to get through the various obstacles.

How to play:
Your phone is divided into two areas. Jump and shoot by touching the screen. Get past the shards by aiming for their weak points in this fast-paced adventure!

Grow new paths, teleport to new places, fly over clouds, jump over spiders, go through ruins, lava, and so much more!

A Kindling Forest is free to play, but includes an optional In-App Purchase for those who wish to support the developers. This purchase is entirely voluntary and does not impact gameplay.

Incredibly frustrating with a severe learning curve. Additionally, nothing about it is rogue-like. Interesting art and premise, but there needs to be an option to trace the trajectory of the arrow, if anything, for accessibility purposes. Get this game only if you enjoy being punished and playing games that lean heavily on memorizing levels.

Thank you for your honest feedback. I understand that the learning curve can be frustrating, and I truly appreciate your suggestion about adding an option to trace the trajectory of the arrow for accessibility, it’s something we’ll consider for future updates. We’re always looking for ways to improve the experience, and your input helps us do that!

Here is my review . Tested on iqoo Neo 7 pro The best thing in the game is the art style. The game is an auto runner shooting game. Another run and gun game with innovative controls . Love the controllers . The designer has definitely worked on controls . The slow motion shooting is next level . Honestly the designer has definitely worked on the game . Developers can explain and give some information about upcoming obstacles . Overall a fantastic game . 5 stars

This is the kind of game I wish it could be easier to find. Excellent design, no BS, really smart controls, good difficulty ramp up. Congrats to the dev, easy 5 stars. I would gladly pay a couple of euro for this app.
