About this game

The eight years you have given will become this child's entire life.

In the year the Demon Lord War ended, I took custody of a girl found at the spot where a star fell.

The Kingdom watches over her, calling her the "Child of the Stars."

On the day she turns eighteen, the Kingdom will decide her fate.

What she becomes by that time will determine her freedom.

■ Once a Month, an Eight-Year Choice

One turn is one month. From April of her tenth year to the spring of her eighteenth year, you choose a total of 96 times:

What to have her learn, work, or rest.

One choice each month from 14 types of classes, 12 types of part-time jobs, and 6 types of rest.

■ 17 Abilities

9 basic abilities: Stamina, Strength, Intelligence, Agility, Grace, Charm, Morality, Faith, and Sensitivity,

and 8 technical abilities: Combat, Magic, Arts, Literature, Speech, Cooking, Housekeeping, and Commerce.

The higher you raise their abilities, the slower their growth becomes.

With a limited 8 years and limited funds, you cannot raise them to be good at everything.

What you choose to sacrifice determines what this child will become.

■ A Child Is Not a Tool

Stress builds in classes, and fatigue builds in work.

If you push them too hard, they will rebel; if you neglect them for too long, their affection will cool.

Whether it is a nap, a walk, shopping, a banquet, or a trip, deciding when and how to let them rest is just as important as raising their ability levels.

■ Innate Talent

The 12 types of zodiac signs, 4 types of blood types, and the three questions asked at the start determine the growth multiplier for each ability.

Even if you raise them with the same plan, a different child will grow in each cycle.

■ Time Together

Once a month is a free action.

You can go out together to eight locations, such as the Square, Market, Garden, Cathedral, and Northern Forest,

have conversations, give gifts, or stop by shops.

Children have specific gifts they like and dislike.

■ Dressing Up

You can equip four slots for Weapons, Armor, Accessories, and Costumes.

There are a total of 110 types of items, and 24 of them are reflected directly in the standing illustration for that day.

■ The End of Eight Years

At the end of eight years, all accumulated abilities, emotions, reputation, and relationships are weighed to determine what this child has become.

They can become a knight, a wizard, a merchant, a painter, an innkeeper, or an ordinary farmer.

There is also an ending where they leave you.

There is no Game Over. Failure is also recorded as an ending.

■ Portrait Screen, One-Handed

Controls are made with one hand to fit the portrait screen.

A turn takes 30 to 60 seconds, and a playthrough takes one to two hours.

You can progress one month at a time during your commute or before going to sleep, and save at any time.
The eight years of a girl entrusted to you in the year the war ended. You decide what to teach her and when to let her rest.
