Betta fish is one type of freshwater fish that is widely cultivated. Fish that have the scientific name Betta sp. this is indeed quite easy to treat compared to other fish. This fish is also tough enough to survive in containers with little water and without using air circulation devices to provide oxygen.

Betta fish comes from various regions in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia. The types of betta fish are very numerous, even reaching 73 species. However, people prefer to group them into 3 types, namely ornamental hickey, fighting hickey, and wild hickey. Ornamental hickey labels and complaints are usually pinned on betta fish that have been nurtured and cultivated. While wild hickey is a betta fish that is still natural and lives in the wild such as in rice fields, swamps, sewers, lakes, and others.
