In Guatemala, there's a garbage island on the border with Honduras; when this and other areas overflowed, they covered the entire country. It became impossible for cars to move, and only certain areas of the country survived the collapse. Some teams have emerged in response to address the emergency, but if people don't recycle, this could be the future.
