About this app

Chiayi Sawmill waswas once the “largest sawmill in East Asia” and had the most advanced equipment and technology during the Japanese Occupation, witnessing the history of the forest industry. Currently, it is registered as a historical building. After restoration and adaptive reuse, it is now a recreational area functioning both as a cultural preservation area and exhibition center in the urban area of Chiayi City.
