Practice recognizing chords, intervals and scales with ChordProg Ear Trainer. Focus on individual sounds in piano exercises, then put your listening skills to work with real recorded chord progressions.

Listen to a clip and name the chords in order. Replay a passage when you need another listen, and switch between chord names and Roman numerals to practice recognizing each chord's role in the key. More than 500 recorded clips give you practice across different keys and voicings.

Focus on the sounds you want to recognize. Practice telling chord types apart, hearing the distance between two notes or identifying a scale as it plays. Work through short levels and return to the ones you find difficult. Your results and daily streak help you keep track of your practice.

When you want to understand what you heard, look it up in the chord, interval and scale dictionaries. You can also tap notes on the piano to find matching chords and scales.

I've played guitar for over 10 years on and off with church bands and on my own, and I always struggled to recognize the 1 chord in a song and follow a chord progression without somebody telling me or seeing charts. I always knew a little practice would help, but never found the right app or program that's reasonably priced that ACTUALLY works.... UNTIL NOW! While playing the games, my mind recognizes songs that I've played so many times, and now the numbers are just plain to follow! Thank you!

Something no ear trainer has is chord tone identification. Say you play a chord and then a note on top. Trained musicians can say if it's the root, third, 9th, whatever. Similarly with the Bass note. People hear inversions by knowing which chord tone is in the bass. If your app had a way to train that it would be the first on the market. Please consider adding such a feature to truly stand out.

Wooow, this app and its previous version are the best ear training and chord progression training. As I said in the first version review i wrote, if I ever had the chance to learn programming and build and ear training app pretty much this would have probably end up being so similar. Great job. And support is absolutely top of the line. Just confirm it!!! Congrats to the developers.
