The different categories of words are composed of the following lists.
NEW GENERAL SERVICE LIST 1.01 (NGSL): CELEBRATING 60 YEARS OF VOCABULARY LEARNING:
a list of high frequency words of the most important high-frequency words useful for second language learners of English
NEW ACADEMIC WORD LIST 1.0 (NAWL)
A new list of important high frequency academic words
TOEIC SERVICE LIST 1.1 (TSL)
When combined with the 2800 words of the NGSL, provides up to 99% coverage of words that appear on the TOEIC test.
BUSINESS SERVICE LIST 1.0 (BSL)
The BSL (when learned in combination of the 2800 words of the NSGL) provide learners with approximately 97% coverage of the English they need in most general business situations and materials.
NEW GENERAL SERVICE LIST-SPOKEN 1.2 (NGSL-S)
This list provides up to 90% coverage for unscripted spoken English.
FITNESS ENGLISH LIST 1.0
The FEL gives up to 98% coverage of common fitness materials when combineD with the 2800 words of the NGSL.
NEW DOLCH LIST 1.0
The NDL list offers 90% coverage for most EFL materials for young learners.
