Idle Cave Miner is an idle game about crafting items, mining gems, and building your team of miners. Tap to mine gold, diamonds, and other resources in a completely destructible, interactive mine. Assemble your team of miners to try to reach as deep as possible, find the best combination using each miner's strengths and abilities as a starting point for your strategy. Prestige, craft, and travel to other mines to increase your strength to dig deeper, and find what lurks below.

Ratings and reviews

This game is incredibly well done. It's simple yes, and the main game play is just tapping on blocks to break them. But, is has so much more. You unlock and hire more miners that have different abilities. There are multiple caves and the difficulty as you get to lower levels is a gradual increase. It's the right amount of grinding and goal completion. You can earn plenty of gems without paying and there are no ads unless you choose to play one for gems. i love this game.

Great game, no forced ads and it doesn't feel like the optional ads are critical to progress, especially early. Diamond upgrades start to feel essential towards the mid-late game, but technically no ads are needed to get them, but the pacing will feel bad unless you are watching the optional diamond ads. I ended up buying the ad-free option to support the dev. In general, a lot of the other shop items feel weak and overpriced. The auto-tap upgrade is way too slow, as I tap 2-3× faster myself.

The offline rewards are too little. And tapping power is too strong over the miner workers. The only way to efficiently progress is to tap the screen. Most of the upgrades depend on coal which is only available in the early stages - which you can travel back to but this process is tedious and too frequent. No forced ads is nice. My biggest recommendation is buff progress that can be made offline.
