Romário de Souza Faria is a Brazilian politician and former footballer. In his football career, he won the 1994 World Cup with Brazil, where he played as a center forward and was nicknamed "baixinho" for his stature. He is widely considered one of the best players of all time.
Popularly known as "Baixinho" due to his short stature, the player even had a brief experience as a coach, commanding Vasco da Gama. He also managed to be an idol in rivals Flamengo and Fluminense, in addition to America, where he ended his career. In Spain he had a great spell in Barcelona and two brief spells in Valencia.
