Pocket Lander (formerly Eagle Lander 3D) is a simple but challenging moon landing simulator with impressive 3D graphics and realistic physics.

Feel the intensity of controlling descent thrusters, managing fuel, and steering through the lunar environment. Fly from the classic 3rd person view or for the full experience - inside the cockpit! Land gently or you will damage the lunar module and be stranded on the moon forever with no hope of rescue.

There are a few reviews claiming that this game is "impossible". Yes, it is difficult at first but with practice you will get it. The key to landing successfully is to make sure your combined horizontal and vertical velocity is below 15 ft/s.

I'm laughing at all the bad reviews saying it's difficult and needs more fuel and crashes easily and needs more 'levels'. Well guess what? It's a simulator. I really enjoyed this app. The rounds are quick which make it great to play for an odd 5 minute at a time. It would be great to have an ascent/redock element to this app in the future.

This game is so cool. Im addicted to it, you should add more updates (the moon ground will be a bit realistic some craters too, make the screen that when you touch the screen will rotate, the modes easy, medium, and hard. The easy is just pitch right and left and so engines. The medium add abit more buttons. And the hard one there will be alot of buttons like the apollo 11 controller. Dont forget to add astronauts so we will work on moon. The lunar module will be more realistic.) thats all bye.

I remember the old school Eagle Lander 3D from 20 years ago being much more simulator-oriented. This is more.of.an arcade game. It would be nice to actually be at the CDR's station (instead of the LMP'S) and have a working FDAI, x-pointer, DSKY to at least display your H-dot, and maybe a contact light as a minimum to make it somewhat realistic.
