DMB-Timer is a convenient timer for those serving, waiting for a loved one, or supporting a child from home. The app helps you see how much time remains until demobilization, how much time has already been completed, what important dates lie ahead, and how each day becomes a step toward returning home.
When you first launch it, select a role: serving, waiting, or parent. Enter your service start date and demobilization date—DMB-Timer will automatically calculate the remaining days, service progress, upcoming milestones, and the return home date. The interface, design, and support phrases adapt to the selected role.
The app supports multiple languages: Russian, Uzbek, Azerbaijani, Tajik, and Kazakh. This is convenient for users from the CIS countries who want to count down the days until home in their native language. The main screens, roles, cards, support phrases, and visual images are localized. The main screen displays the most important information: a large counter showing the days left until home, the percentage of the journey completed, service progress, upcoming stages, the start date of service, the demobilization date, and a short message of encouragement. This format is convenient to access at any time when you want to quickly check how much time remains until your next meeting.
The app includes a service calendar. It helps you keep track of past and future days, important milestones, memorable dates, and military holidays. You can view the entire journey to demobilization and understand what's already behind you and what dates are ahead.
The DMB-Timer supports notes. You can save thoughts, memories, plans, important events, and personal notes related to your service and the wait. Notes help you remember important moments.
For quick access, there's a widget for your Android home screen. It displays a live counter right on your phone's home screen: how many days remain, your current progress, and how close you are to home.
The app also includes postcards for loved ones. You can share the counter, send a beautiful card, change the text, save your signature, and use random warm phrases for different roles: from a soldier, from a girlfriend, or from parents. You can also invite loved ones to install the app via Google Play or RuStore.
The DMB Timer allows you to add your own music. Favorite songs can accompany the wait and make the journey home a little warmer. The music is stored locally on the device.
Notifications and reminders are available. The user chooses whether to receive notifications and can turn on reminders for important milestones, holidays, and special occasions. Notifications are not used for spam—only for useful events.
A key advantage of the app is the lack of paid features. There is no need to purchase the Pro version, subscribe, or pay for basic features. The timer, calendar, notes, postcards, widget, notifications, languages, design, and basic features are available for free.
