About this app
The DMB-Timer is a countdown to demobilization for those serving, waiting for a loved one, or supporting a child from home. The app shows how much time remains until return, how much of your service has already been completed, and what important dates lie ahead.
When you first launch it, select a role and enter your service start date and demobilization date. The timer will calculate the remaining days and progress based on the entered dates. The design and support messages are customized to the selected role: soldier, waiting girlfriend, or parents.
DAYS UNTIL HOME ON THE MAIN SCREEN
Open the app to see a large counter of remaining days, the percentage of the journey completed, upcoming stages, and the start and end dates of your service. A short support message complements the information. All key milestones are gathered together for a quick overview of how much time remains until your reunion.
SERVICE CALENDAR
The calendar lets you view past and future days, important stages, commemorative dates, and military holidays. Use it to visualize the entire journey to demobilization and understand what events are already behind you and what is yet to come.
NOTES AND PERSONAL NOTES
Save thoughts, memories, plans, and events related to your service or your wait. Notes allow you to return to important moments later. An entry can be short: an impression from the day, a thought for a future meeting, or something you don't want to forget.
WIDGET ON YOUR ANDROID SCREEN
Add the widget to your phone's home screen to view the counter without opening the main app. It shows the remaining time and progress. It's a convenient reference point for daily review of the journey until you return home.
POSTCARDS FOR LOVED ONES
Share the counter or send a postcard. You can change the text, save your own signature, and choose a random, heartwarming phrase for your role. The app includes options from a service member, a girlfriend, and parents. You choose the words you want to convey to your loved one.
MUSIC AND THEMES
Add your own music to accompany your wait with familiar songs. Music files are saved locally on your device. The selected role affects the theme and support messages, so the screen can reflect your personal perspective on the wait.
IMPORTANT DATE REMINDERS
Choose whether to receive notifications. Reminders are available for milestones, holidays, and events. Turn them on if you want to revisit significant dates, or leave them off if you prefer to open the calendar manually.
APP LANGUAGES
Russian, Uzbek, Azerbaijani, Tajik, and Kazakh are available. The main screens, roles, cards, and support phrases are localized. Choose the language that best suits your needs when viewing the counter and reading messages.
FOR DIFFERENT WAITING PARTICIPANTS
A service member can track their service progress and save personal notes. A female soldier can see the days remaining until their appointment and choose the words for a postcard. Parents can view upcoming milestones and support their son. Roles change presentation, but the calculation remains tied to the specified dates.
DAILY GUIDE
View the widget, open the calendar, jot down a thought, or prepare a postcard. Choose what's relevant today: the countdown to demobilization, service milestones, or words for loved ones.
EASY START
Using the counter doesn't require an account or subscription. Specify dates, choose a role and language, then decide whether to receive notifications. The main features—timer, calendar, notes, postcards, and widget—are available without purchasing the Pro version.
The app contains advertising. This doesn't affect your ability to use the main features without a paid subscription. Data used for the counter and personal notes is stored on the device; for information about advertising services, see the data security section and the privacy policy on the app card.
DMB-Timer helps you count down the days until home, mark important events, and share words of encouragement. The calculation is based on dates entered by the user. The counter helps you keep track of your wait time; please check the service's latest information for the official return date.
