Got to the dragon for the first time. Didn't have the weapon to fight him, so went back to Nether. it said I defeated him and gave me the option to prestige. I did, now the quest is stuck on the plains task and even though I'm back to the dragon, can't advance.

took 5 minutes to finish the entire game. got to the dragon, defeated it, now it says unlock plains with absolutely no details on how. I've done literally everything there is to do an old there's nothing left

Your game is broken. I can try to do four different things is asking me to do. And I still can't get to where I need to go, because obviously I don't have enough stuff, and I've got the stuff. I masked, but yeah, it tells me I don't have enough of it. Your game is broken!!
