When it works it is fairly good, however the problem is it doesn't work anymore and I can no longer get a live feed of the dash cam. I can connect to my dash cam's Wi-Fi, however it still won't pick up a live feed. The typical solution is to do a factory reset of my Road Scout, but doing this every time your app breaks is annoying. Cobra produces good products but their software is lacking. Edit:Got it to work because I was selecting the wrong option when it asked for permission to use Wi-Fi.

S10 phone and still can't connect through the wifi. I am going to return this camera as both the apps (mentioned on the sheet if paper, which by the way, there is only the most basic instructions so you have to navigate the website to find anything of value) will not allow you to connect or even register at times.

I've had this Roadscout from 2021. I've reserved judgement till Now. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM. Where this fails is the terrible Support both with the Unit itself, and this really useless app that hasn't been updated since 2019. One of the main reasons why people purchase Dash Cans is to have proof at your fingertips to show what occurred. This Does not provide you with that option. It's supposed to, but it DOES NOT. You cannot download the files from the cam to your phone. Get anything but this
