About this game

IdleTale is an incremental/idle RPG game.
You'll find yourself in a world where everything can only get bigger - specifically talking about numbers!

Kill enemies to gain Gold, use it to produce even more Gold while you're not playing and complete quests, explore dungeons, collect loot to gear up and improve your character with all the Talent trees and the further Ascension Upgrades!

All of this will only lead to your power skyrocketing like you wouldn't imagine.
Start this journey slowly, and day by day unlock more features until there's nothing left to achieve - or so you'll think. Then you'll reset your progress.
But for good! This will only multiply your next game's numbers and experiences by a LOT! (And unlock even MORE features)

Great game, but there's always room for improvement. I like their take on an incremental idle game but progression is pretty slow. Unless I'm playing it wrong, you can only collect gear when you're actively playing, and the drop rate is relatively low to the amount of gear they have in the game. Seems like there is a wall in terms of the amount of gold you get once you reach level 20. I can find myself raising my stats once every other day. This is an early game with a lot of potential.

Progression is pretty slow to begin with, but gradually slows up to the point where there is little purpose in trying to actively play, so you just have to wait. For a really LONG time. Literal days. I'd like to see more content, as most other aspects are enjoyable. But at this rate, I might even forget the game exists. Maybe gameplay is meant to be entirely passive, but I don't see the fun in that. Lovely pixel art backgrounds though.

i want to recommend this game but I can't really. the art is interesting and pretty, the animations are fluid, they arent doing anything crazy with ads, and there are some interesting ideas going on, but there isn't actually much to do once you get past the first few minutes other than check on the game occasionally. that does change when you get to the end game but it becomes an absolutely obscene grind at that point which is not really an improvement.
