Boost your table-top role-playing experience with wonderful background ambiences to make your gaming sessions more immersive. These ambiences make your players feel right where you want them to be.

Each soundscape is composed of several dozen beautiful, location-specific sounds, which blend to create a unique, constantly changing atmospheric background. These sounds play at random times, volume, length, distance, reverb, and velocity to create an infinitely unique ambience with no repetitions. Timed events control the flow of each soundscape to bring changes in weather, day/night time and such conditions to life and to make these ambiences even more colourful. All of our soundscapes are 5.1 surround sounds.

We create soundscapes specifically for our adventure modules available at https://elderbrain.com but they can be used in any setting. New updates with more free soundscapes will be continuously released for our past and future adventure modules.

Firstly, will say I'm slightly disappointed that the soundscapes don't play when you turn your screen off. I hope this is amended in future updates over making new soundscapes. On to the good. Really love the soundscapes. I'll be using them in my homebrew Campaign for a while while my party moves through the underdark. I'm also really excited to see how the campaign module i heard about this through will look when finished.

Very limited functionality. 5 total soundscapes that are dynamic, but dont offer any sort of granular control that other free apps give you. No turning off individual sounds or changing their volume. No creating your own soundscape even from a list of built in sounds.

Like the app and the sounds but app seriously needs update to allow use in background. As soon as I minimize the app it stops. No matter what I try it will NOT run in the background.

What’s new

Soundscapes can now keep playing when you leave the app or lock your phone. Use the media notification to pause, resume, or skip to the next or previous soundscape — from the notification shade, lock screen, or headset controls. Perfect for long game sessions, or whenever you just want the world to stay in the background.
