terrible app. nothing like depicted in the ad for it. can't adjust between duct materials. it doesn't even tell you what kind of duct material it's basing things on. completely useless.

I regret that you did not like the app, but thanks for the feedback. If you look below the unit selection button, a material surface roughness value is displayed. In the ductwork, it is known that this roughness corresponds to multiple material types and is applicable to galvanized sheet metal ducts.

If you have previously used the cardboard duct calculator from Carrier, Trane, or York, you can rely on the accuracy of this application, as it is developed based on those established duct calculators.
