I would have rated this 5 stars but then the forced ads started. I wouldn't have even bothered rating if I didn't feel so pissed about it. I expect forced ads in a lot of apps now. It's the nature of the game. Except for this one. It's just gratuitous. Whenever you load in you are hit with ads for in game packs for cosmetics and more monsters. Which aren't cheap either, the last one I saw was 15 bucks. The game is great, simple mechanics and cool creatures but forced ads will ruin it.

Nice designs, nice models, easy to understand mechanics, mildly undermined by a stamina system, limited stage replayability on a daily basis, and slow means of unlocking and evolving Battlemons. As of review it's early access and the game story stops by the end of the second "world" and quests are limited with a level cap of 20 so don't download now if you're looking for a completed game; it's nice as it is and has a promising future as long as it keeps getting worked on!

I really like this game, but I'm giving it 2 stars for a reason. let me explain. being a new mobile game, it crashes quite a bit, which im not too mad about, but in my opinion, there should not be a level cap regardless of how far the story goes. I was level 20 before I beat the story, meaning anything after that was wasted XP, which is crazy. also, I can no longer evolve my battlemon because it requires a higher level of my player. I can get the DNA needed for them, but after I max it's a waste
