Uses publicly available data services operated by the U.S. Geological Survey, TVA, Western Kentucky University, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the National Weather Service to retrieve current water levels, historical readings, and weather forecasts. No ads. No data gathering. Just ALL the relevant information I can find - water depth gauges, temperatures, weather, GPS coordinates of monitor stations.
Sadly, about a decade ago, funding was cut for the vast majority of water quality samples - Nolin Lake, for instance, had awesome readings available for chemicals and phytoplankton - and then they didn't.
I say this to let you know that I have been digging very deep to find every piece of free, publicly-available information I possibly can about our waterways.
So, please enjoy :-)
