GPS Speedometer - Odometer HUD is a dedicated speed and distance instrument for your car, motorcycle or bike.

WHAT IT DOES

- Live GPS speedometer with four gauge styles (digital, analog, linear and minimal), so you can pick the read that suits your eyes and your dash mount.
- HUD mode reflects your speed onto the windshield for a heads-up read, with a mirror toggle and a brightness floor, and a gentle drift built in so the bright figure never burns into an OLED screen during a long night drive.
- Trip recording you start yourself: distance, duration, average speed and maximum speed for every drive, saved as a journey you can revisit.
- A lifetime odometer that keeps a running total across every drive you record.
- Insights that show your driving patterns — distance, speed and time of day — once you have a few drives behind you.
- A map screen that shows your own recorded routes on a Google map, with zoom controls. It draws only the paths you actually drove: no traffic, no navigation, no search.
- Three visual themes (Light, Dark, Night) plus a selectable accent color, and a "follow system" option that switches with your phone.
- A speed alert with your choice of Sound, Vibrate or Visual style, set to a threshold you choose.
- GPS quality shown honestly: satellite count, accuracy, altitude and heading are shown when your device provides them, and the app tells you plainly when a fix is weak or lost instead of quietly guessing.
- Manual calibration against a trusted reference speed, applied to every reading the app shows and saves.
- km/h, mph or knots — your choice, applied everywhere.
- Ten languages, including a fully mirrored right-to-left layout for Persian.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO, ON PURPOSE

- It does not claim to know a road's speed limit. The speed-limit alert is a threshold you set yourself, and the app never pretends otherwise.
- It has no account, no sign-in and no server. Every calculation — your speed, your distance, your route shape, your history — happens on your device, using your device's own GPS receiver.
- Recording keeps running with the screen off, using a foreground service you start yourself with a single tap, so a drive is never silently lost the moment your phone locks.

A NOTE FOR THE ROAD

This app is a dashboard instrument, not a substitute for your vehicle's own speedometer, and the driver is always responsible for the road. Use it as a reference, and keep your eyes on the road first.

PRIVACY

Your location is used on your device to calculate your speed and build your drive history, and it is never sent anywhere by this app, and no event or crash report can carry it. There is no account and no server of ours. The app is free and shows ads from Google AdMob, which uses device identifiers such as your advertising ID to show and measure ads. If you choose to turn on Settings > Privacy > Share usage and crash data, the app sends anonymous usage counts and crash reports to Google Firebase; it is off until you turn it on.
