This app is part of the theater game “Marshmallow Mystery”. In order to play the game, in addition to the app, you also need a paper map, which can be ordered free of charge from the Berlin GRIPS Theater. The interactive summer camp crime thriller “Marshmallow Mystery” was developed at the GRIPS Theater together with a group of 9 to 12 year old children. It's about a seemingly idyllic holiday camp where a number of strange things happen: objects disappear, strange noises are heard at night and some children behave more than strangely. To find out what's going on here, viewers are sent a map of the camp by mail, which can be brought to life using augmented reality. If the various locations on the map are viewed through the camera of a smartphone, the corresponding locations appear in their place as three-dimensional 3D landscapes. These can now be explored and searched for clues. Children from the camp can often be found there and need to be questioned. The audience can try to solve the mysterious case step by step...
