About this app

A HEX Editor built for hobbyist game translators and everyday people, and definitely not your typical Hex Editor tool. Many features are supported out of the box, but hopefully more to come soon. Created by the same people that brought you WindHex for windows.

Although this was created with game translations in mind, it is surely versatile enough to be used by everyday people. You can view, edit, search, and replace binary data using this App. You can also compare two files to see the differences.

HTML help file with detailed information about the features within this App.

I am really impressed by this app. But, I would also like to suggest an enhancement. With the current release of this, it can take a very long time to open a very large file (but it seems like all files can be opened in this app!). It would be nice to have a setting that limits the storage area used so the opening of very large files could happen quicker. Basically, I believe the current limit is close to the ram size on the android device. I would like to impose a user limit that is smaller.

I can't seem to find any files using this app. I'm still rating 5 star because It's more than likely user error or a simple bug, and I haven't found another mobile app that offers table support (not saying they don't exist) but that's got my attention. I want to fiddle with table files from a Ps2 ISO, even if simply to see what's inside. This app seems promising. :) Keeping it around. Thanks for the hard work and dedication Devs!

I have not been able to run this app on my S24 phone, or my S7 tablet. The app cannot register screen touches, nor can it use the built-in file manager to find files. File Explorer "Open With" works, but changes made to a file in the app are not actually saved. Android Settings claims "no permissions denied", but the app doesn't appear in Permissions Manager either to check or to change permissions. The developer has got something seriously wrong with file handling and screen mapping.

My apologies. Google made drastic changes to the Android file system. We have been attempting to update the system, but issues have risen. It will be fixed in due time. Thank you.
