The game is a fresh retro-style take on the OG. It feels like something straight from the 80s or 90s. My issue with the game comes down to playability. The monster models in Monkey Business will freeze mid animation, while in motion. But, so far, the game is a fun experience. Just some minor bugs to fix here and there, and it should be fine.

It's challenging, and I love that you can swap into characters you beat in the game. My only problem is that teleporting is buggy at the moment. I've clipped out of boundaries multiple times from tight turns. I was able to enter the elevator with the monkey, teleport out of the "boss fight" against Agatha, and the void. The game is in its early stages, so I think it will be fixed eventually. Other than teleporting situations, it's actually fun!

This is my first time getting to play through Deadly Decadence and Stranger Sewers. It is hella entertaining and fun. My only real complaint is no controller support, cuz I feel this game really needs it. Past that, I had fun and will continue to have fun because this is an amazing game, and I know Vince is cooking with this one. I highly recommend this game, as it's highly re-playable. Worth the $5.99 price tag.
