About this app

InsightEng 3D is a 3D visualization application developed for mechanical engineering students at the University of Victoria (UVic).

The app helps students better understand core engineering concepts in Dynamics and Materials Engineering through interactive 3D models. In the Dynamics examples, users can rotate, zoom, and explore mechanical systems while visualizing the forces acting on them. In the Materials Engineering section, students can interact with models of crystalline structures.

InsightEng 3D is designed to support coursework by making complex engineering concepts easier to visualize and understand.
