AWAKENING PROTOCOL

You are S-09, a solid-state drive that has just booted inside a machine
that stopped working long ago. To wake the machine you must travel
through it, one component at a time — spinning through 25 neon-lit
circuits inside the motherboard, the graphics card, the sound card, the
RAM, and finally the CPU itself.

Every circuit is short. Every attempt counts. Every millisecond you
shave off feeds back into your record.

■ 25 CIRCUITS THROUGH THE HARDWARE
Five phases, one per component. Each with its own aesthetic, its own
obstacles, and its own guardian.

■ THE VOICES INSIDE THE MACHINE
Each component holds a fading guide: Capacitron the capacitor, Ledrix
the graphics chip, Echo the sound card, Dimm the RAM, and Core-0 the
CPU. Every level ends with a short dialogue that tells the story of a
machine learning to be alive again.

■ TIME ATTACK & LEADERBOARDS
Compete against yourself and the world on 25 Google Play leaderboards.
Race a ghost of your best run in every level.

■ POWER-UPS
Collect data orbs that stop your rotation, boost your speed, slow it
down for tight corridors, or make you briefly invulnerable.

■ FIVE LANGUAGES
English, Spanish, French, German and Japanese.

Awakening Protocol is a short, dense, quiet arcade game about a small
drive that decides to bring a dead machine back to life.
