While the game controls and mechanics are simple, FOOTSIES retains the fundamental feeling of the fighting game genre where spacing, hit confirm and whiff punish are keys to achieve victory.

Featuring online battle mode with rollback netcode, implemented using GGPO open-source codes and can cross-play with user on PC version.

Ratings and reviews

I've played Footsies since the 1.0 version and the amount of upgrades and work HiFight has put into this is worth every penny. The rollback is great, customizations are fun, and the variety of AI opponents you fight that embody different styles (spammer, whiff punisher, etc) really help. The beauty of Footsies is that it will really help your fundamentals in fighting games in general while you're having fun.

As far as single player, the game is really charming and super fun to play, teaching you basic fundamentals of fighting games. The issue is, online play doesn't seem to work for me as whenever someone joins my lobby, the app crashes so i literally cannot play online with friends. Huge issue since i also decided to pay for the rollback version, can't give more than 3 stars.

Amazing game. Excellent training tool especially for new players into fighting games. It trains one of the most important fundamentals of a fighting game. The only problem I have is a slight stutter from time to time that messes up my timing
