About this game

Piece by Piece, written by Sabrina Dias, is an educational game aimed at courses in the area of information technology, with a special focus on computer maintenance. The game was developed to provide a practical and interactive experience in learning hardware components.

In the game, players need to identify and drag specific parts, such as RAM, processor, cooler and others, to their correct positions on a motherboard. As they get it right and complete a certain number of pieces correctly, they advance to more challenging phases, which increase in complexity and introduce new elements and technical concepts.

The main objective of "Piece by Piece" is to provide a fun and engaging environment to reinforce learning about computer assembly and structure. It is ideal for practical classes in hardware courses, encouraging memorization and understanding of how each component works.

This educational game was developed within the scope of the Educational Software and Graphic Applications disciplines of the Degree in Computer Science course at IF Baiano, Campus Senhor do Bonfim, by student Sabrina Silva Dias, with support from student Francisco Manoel Gama Pereira and under the supervision by Prof. Dr. Jesse Nery Filho.
