About this app

IVANANI is an innovative educational app that combines augmented reality (AR), 3D animation, and interactive storytelling to engage children in exploring cultures and the world around them. Designed for children aged 8 to 12, IVANANI takes them on exciting adventures, immersing them in a wide range of topics—both ancient and modern—while delivering interactive educational content.

In the first adventure, currently presented at the Museum of Archaeology of Catalonia (MAC) as part of the IMPERIUM exhibition, children join an extraterrestrial robot on a mission to discover what life was like for Roman children.

Through augmented reality, children interact with elements of the exhibition, turning the museum visit into an exciting and educational journey. The app bridges the digital and physical worlds, offering an experience that is both fun and informative.

Although this first chapter focuses on the Roman era, future adventures will cover a wide range of cultures, historical periods, and global themes, helping children broaden their understanding of the world.
