Lay out insulation cladding the way the shop does it — from the insulation's real outside diameter, not the pipe's.

InsuLayout Pro is a layout tool for industrial insulators and tinners. Pick the pipe size, the wall, and the material; it gives you the flat pattern, the ordinates, and the file for the table.

SIZED BY BORE, NOT PIPE OD
Insulation is ordered as bore × wall. Rigid materials (calcium silicate, cellular glass, perlite) step up one size; soft materials match the pipe; traced lines go oversize. InsuLayout Pro resolves the actual outside diameter from the ASTM C585 table and lays the pattern out on that — the difference is over an inch of stretchout on a plain 8" line, and about four on a traced one. Every result shows where the number came from and warns when it had to estimate.

2D SHEET NESTING
Queue patterns from the layout tab and pack them onto 4×8 or 4×10 sheets or 36" / 48" coil, with kerf, rotation, multi-sheet overflow and scrap yield.
