About this app

The RCF JMixRemote app provides full remote control of the mixer variants within the EVOX J8 and J9 families, via Bluetooth LE.
The app currently allows for remote control of a single unit. The following products are currently supported:
- EVOX JMIX8
- EVOX JMIX9
Both mixers offer Bluetooth streaming audio and Bluetooth LE remote control.
To perform an audio connection, JMixRemote is not required; you need to press PAIR and then connected to the devices named JMIX9-nnnn. This is the default name that can be modified if desired.
Remote control via JMixRemote does not need an explicit connection; within the app, you press SCAN and select the desired device.

On both EVOX JMIX8 and JMIX9, the full input mixer section is accessible, as well as the output settings.

To obtain a complete stereo system, you can pair the units with their matching products:
- EVOX JMIX9 and EVOX J9
- EVOX JMIX8 and EVOX J8
There is a dedicated output to driver the other channel within the stereo pair.

Digital Mixer Specifications:
- Inputs ch. 1 to 4: MIC/LINE, selectable 48V phantom power, HPF, 3-band equalizer, one-knob compressor
- Stereo Inputs 5-6 and 7-8: HPF, 3-band equalizer
- Mixing engine with stereo and mono mode selection; Left and Right outputs can be swapped
- Main output: 8-band parametric equalizer
- Aux output: separate mix with pre/post options, programmable delay, and 8-band parametric equalizer
- Flexible Ducker that acts on stereo input channels
- Internal Effect: separate sends that feed an internal reverb engine; its return channels are fed into the main mix, and optionally into the Aux output
- Colour display with capacitive touch and endless digital encoders, with RGB LEDs to help identifying the current function
- Bluetooth audio streaming mixed into ch 7-8
- Bluetooth LE remote control
- Multi-function momentary button that can be assigned to different muting options: ALL OUTPUTS, FX RETURN, AUX OUT
- Mixer Bypass Mode to emulate the behaviour of an EVOX J9
