Beautiful app with gorgeous animations. If you are familiar with the Prisma and Cosma Visions decks then you already know how beautiful the decks are and the app is a great way to bring them with you wherever. Only 4 stars because of a bug -- when I first installed the app, I was unable to save any readings even though clicking on the save icon said that they were saved. I had to "Force Stop" the app and then restart it before saving would work. Weirdly, if I cleared out the app storage+cache to emulate a fresh install, this also resulted in my being unable to save any readings until I had "Force Stop"ped the app again and restarted it. Fixable, but I'm not sure if the average user will dig through Android to try these things. May be phone specific - I'm on a Pixel 5. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> As this app is in the early days there are also some things that need polish. Listed below in order of my perceived priority: [[[1]]]. This app is really an Apple/iOS first product and it shows in the way that the "back" gestures don't work and you need to click on the "Menu" in order to get back from a screen. Some of the animations are also a bit slow at times. [[[2]]]. I REALLY wish there was some way to take notes on saved readings. Tarot is such an open system that the same set of cards are going to be read very dfiferently based on what was asked and the mindset of the reader at that moment in time. [[[3]]]. I second the call from other reviews for custom spreads but would rate this as lower priority than item #2. There is already an option to draw 1, 3, 6, 10 and 12 card spreads through the different options and having a note functionality would allow you to basically implement this functionality for yourself by reinterpreting what the card positions mean and leaving yourself a quick note to yourself that you read it as [Insert Spread Name Here]. [[[4]]]. Another bug, but I don't have a good reproduction path and it has only happened once for me. On the single card spread, you can spread the cards and choose a single one, which is fun although not personally something that is a huge value add for me. However, one time when I went to spread the cards, the entire deck disappeared and I was unable to do anything but click on "Menu" to go back. Again, the Android back gesture didn't do anything to at least go back to the menu. [[[5]]]. I could not figure out how to see a card fullscreen or at least quite a bit larger than what is provided. Tarot is arguabley meant to be read intuitively and is a large part of the reason that using a deck with art that speaks to you is worthwhile. Although the guidebook is very useful, it would be nice to be able to sit and reflect through each card with your own interpretation. [[[6]]]. It would be nice to have an option to somehow speed the card flip animation or reduce the overall time from asking to draw a multi-card spread to being able to start clicking on some of the cards. Just as a deck of tarot cards is it's own form factor with a design language that James Eads is a master of, an app serves different needs and a pure skeumorphic experience of flipping cards just doesn't have the same effect. Alternatively, I can definitely imagine a more interactive experience where each screen tap on the "table" results in a new card draw but you can click on the already drawn cards to begin reading even with only a single card down. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> All in all, I am very pleased with the purchase but am detracting a star for now because the "unable to save" bug is reproducible and will be a showstopper for some even though I found a way around it. I will try to come back and update to 5 stars when this is fixed. Until there is a way to save notes, I'm going to be totally fine clearing all of my saved readings anyways so I'll be able to test. This app is a great and very affordable way to get into these two beautiful and inspiring decks and I would recommend this app to anyone who has an interest.

Thank you for this feedback! We released an update that addresses much of your feedback and are working on more. You now have the ability to write notes, adjust card flip speed, and toggle the card-spreading feature for single-card draws. If the saving bug persists, please contact us with more details and we will work on a solution.

Really beautiful app, I love the cards and was excited to see an app developed so I can use the cards when I can't easily get my physical deck. Nice too that there are a few spreads to pick from, would be cool to add more or add an option to make your own spreads (placing out cards how you want and flipping them). Also a feature to write notes with your saved readings would be cool! Handy to use as a guide alongside the cards to easily find a meaning without flipping through a book. š

As the owner of several of James R. Eads's wonderful decks, I am so pleased to be able to take Cosma Visions and Prisma Visions everywhere I go. The app is vividly beautiful, with animations and artwork in Eads's unique style. The special 6-card readings that cross between the decks are truly insightful and fun. The embedded LWB is great. Would love a 1-card widget!
