cSmobile is the mobile extension of the cableScout® fibre management system. Designed for network operators and field technicians, it provides fast access to current network information, enabling efficient maintenance and rapid fault resolution.
A key advantage of cSmobile is its offline capability. All essential fibre network data, including maps and related documentation, are stored on the mobile device, allowing users to work without an internet or server connection. A connection is only required to download updated data or upload redlining information.
Network data maintained in the central cableScout® system is distributed to authorised users through a dedicated administration portal. The mobile app displays the data with accurate geographic positioning and detailed information on buildings, ducts, microducts, cables, splice connections, signals, distribution cabinets, and installed components.
Powerful search and analysis tools simplify field operations. Users can quickly locate a signal and display its route in both schematic and map views. When investigating faults, an OTDR measurement value can be entered to estimate the fault location, helping technicians identify problems more efficiently.
Integrated navigation directs users to the selected network location, enabling immediate response without returning to the office for documentation or network records.
The built-in redlining function allows users to record field observations by attaching text notes, voice recordings, or photos to any network object. Documentation discrepancies or changes can be captured on site and later synchronised with the central cableScout® database.
Designed for ease of use, cSmobile requires no specialist cableScout® knowledge or formal training. Its intuitive interface enables rapid deployment across different departments, giving a wide range of users reliable access to accurate network information wherever they are working.
cSmobile brings cableScout® fibre management to mobile.
