Jussbot is an AI-powered helper that provides simple and educational answers to everyday legal questions about Norwegian law – Whenever you want, right in your pocket. The answers are based on Norwegian laws and regulations that are available on Lovdata: https://lovdata.no, and follow Lovdata's terms of use of their API: https://api.lovdata.no/.

All answers contain a source reference to the source from Lovdata so that you can easily check the source material yourself. This ensures transparency and verifiability.

How Jussbot works
• You write your question in the chat – for example about inheritance, labor law, rent, complaints, taxes or other.
• Jussbot searches relevant sources and gives you a specific answer with reference to the regulations.
• You can follow up with new questions in the same conversation, so you can build on the answers.
Functionality
• Chat interface – Easy conversation with Jussbot. Write or select suggestions, and get answers directly in the app.
• Search in real sources – The answers are based on Norwegian laws and regulations directly from lovdata.no, not generic or made-up text.
• Suggested questions – Ready-made suggestions (e.g. inheritance, home purchase, labor law) make it easy to get started.
• Private mode – Select “Do not save this conversation” to ask questions without saving the conversation. Without logging in, you can ask up to 5 questions in private mode; with a free user account you get unlimited private mode.
• Login and history – With a free account, your chats are saved so you can go back to previous questions and answers.
• Anonymization – All personal information in what is saved is anonymized to ensure your privacy.

User-friendliness
The app is adapted for mobile: clearly readable text, easy navigation and fast response. You can use the suggestions, write freely or scroll through previous messages. The keyboard and login are adapted for good use on the phone. If necessary, you can pull down to close the keyboard without sending a message.
