The app is great because it allows easy checks of the weather, local radar, and temperature and even wind speed. It also allows one to watch a live or rebroadcast newscast, and has an archive of recent stories. Downsides? The weekly forecast is from an outside source, so doesn't match what's on TV. Also, in the recently introduced full screen mode, it doesn't prevent my phone from fading-out then locking the screen like it does in the little window (as of 5/2024). Fix that, KTVN!

is a good app, however would be better if barometric pressure was displayed for those of us affected by it. The radar view zooms by too fast. I find myself having to stop it. I then use a finger to slowly move it across the screen to better see heavier rain and thunderstorms.

Have used the KTVN weather app all across the US and Canada and it works great. The forecasted temps and weather are typically spot on within a few days. I love the ability to swap between recently viewed cities on the app.
