About this game
“Throne In” is a turn-based city builder, where every decision has an impact of the final score. It is designed to measure the value of various strategies to meet scenario conditions. The aim of the game is to get the highest score for a given scenario, while facing the uncertainly of a random event which has the potential for reward or punishment.
Players control what gets built and in which turn, which leads to an accumulation of points in for different buildings. However, not every building is worth points! So, what and when to build is a major consideration for the player.
It is designed to simulate the high importance of critical thinking in decision making, and the need for adaptability a ruler requires to meet their people’s needs. Strategy plays a such vital part of the game, as there are numerous strategies and only some will work for any given scenario, which will change with each game.
~ Base game with 6 scenarios and 8 events, gives you 48 possible variations to play.

~ Top 10 scores saved
~ Scenario Selection
~ Music and SFX (can be turned on/off)
~ Designed as part of a Games Design subject at uni.
