About this app

Your community. Your connections.

Know NOW! brings together everything happening around you and the people who matter: local events, neighborhood groups, private chats, live location sharing, weather and safety alerts, all in one free app.

START YOUR DAY WITH YOUR CITY
Open Know NOW! and see what's happening near you today: upcoming events, posts from the people and groups you follow, trending local stories and the current weather. Save the cities you care about and switch between them in a tap.

FIND YOUR COMMUNITY
Join public groups for your neighborhood, hobbies, school or team, or create a private group for family and close friends. The Groups feed puts new posts from all your groups in one place, so you never miss what your people are sharing.

MAKE PLANS
Browse local events by day, from farmers markets and concerts to art walks and group rides. See where each event is, when it starts, and who's going, then save it or share it with friends.

CHECK THE WEATHER BEFORE YOU HEAD OUT
Get the current conditions, an hourly forecast, a 10-day outlook and live radar for every city you save.

KEEP YOUR PEOPLE CLOSE
Share your live location with the people you choose, for 15 minutes, an hour or longer, and find each other faster on the Live Map. Send your location to anyone with a link, even if they don't have the app.

STAY AWARE TOGETHER
Get official weather and safety alerts for the places that matter to you. With Shadowing, the people you trust can see alerts near you, so family knows right away when something happens close by.

CHECK IN WITH ONE TAP
The Emergency Toolkit is always one tap away. Send "I'm Safe" or "Help Needed" with your location, start an SOS, turn on the flashlight or alarm, and read step-by-step safety guides for tornadoes, floods, wildfire smoke, extreme heat, severe thunderstorms and hurricanes.

SHARE THE MOMENT
Post photos and videos, rate the places and events you've been to, and help others discover the best of your city.

KEEP THE CONVERSATION GOING
Chat one-on-one or in groups with photos, videos, documents, reactions and replies. Share a post, an event or your location right in the conversation, and make plans for next time.

Know NOW! is free to download. Join your community today.
