Mr. and Mrs. Teachers, have you ever taught students with hearing disabilities and intellectual disabilities? This teacher's guidebook was written to help teachers recognize and understand the characteristics of students with hearing disabilities and intellectual disabilities. Apart from that, this book was written to assist teachers in carrying out assessments, developing and modifying the curriculum, as well as designing and implementing learning according to the needs and abilities of students.
This book is presented as a source of information, so the explanation of strategies, examples and formats in this document are not regulatory in nature. Teachers can use reference sources, strategies and other formats to design and implement the learning process.
The principle of independent teaching allows teachers to develop ideas from various references in implementing learning, as long as the results are appropriate and meet the criteria that have been set in learning outcomes. This book is equipped with examples of good practice, assessment formats, inspiration space, infographics, and video links and files that can be used as inspiration by teachers and parents at home in developing teaching ideas.
We would like to thank the various parties who have contributed to the writing of this teacher's guidebook. Our hope is that this book can provide benefits to teachers, educational units, the community and students, of course as the main subject in learning.
