About this game

Unfold your imagination and weave unpredictable tales together with Ink & Echo, a modern digital adaptation of the classic "Exquisite Corpse" collaborative writing game.

Gather your friends, select a starter prompt, and let the ink flow. Each player takes turns writing a paragraph of a story, but there's a catch: you can only see the last few words written by the previous player—the "echo".

Once everyone has contributed, the digital scroll is unsealed, revealing a complete, surprising, and often hilarious manuscript!

FEATURING:
• Skeuomorphic Design: Write on a tactile dotted paper interface with beautiful, responsive dark and light themes.
• Mechanical Typewriter Sounds: Feel every keystroke with satisfying mechanical typewriter sound effects.
• Pass & Play Local Multiplayer: No account or internet connection required. Simply pass the phone to the next writer.
• Customized Rules: Choose the number of players (2 to 10) and fine-tune the hint difficulty (reveal 1, 3, or 5 words of the echo).
• Prompt Library: Stuck on the first line? Select from a rich collection of mystery, fantasy, sci-fi, and drama starter prompts to spark your inspiration.
• Built-in Archive: Review, read, and save your past completed stories. Build a library of memories and shared laughter.

No prep, no complicated rules—just pure collaborative creativity. Perfect for parties, road trips, and cozy nights in.

Will your next tale be a gripping mystery, a magical fantasy, or a hilarious comedy? Grab some friends, pass the phone, and find out with Ink & Echo!
