About this app

Ledger HD Wallet is a hardware wallet designed only to hold the private keys of cryptocurrencies, NFTs and other crypto assets. It does NOT provide any additional services such as buying, selling, exchanging, or trading assets. Ledger HD Wallet works fully offline as a self-custody cold-storage device and charges no trading, exchange or service fees.

Ledger HD Hardware Wallet is the companion app for the Ledger HD Wallet secure-element hardware wallet card. Your private keys are generated and stored inside the tamper-resistant secure element of your card and never leave it — not even when you use this app.

The app is organized into simple tabs:

• WALLET — Tap your Ledger HD Wallet card to the back of your phone over NFC to view your public address and balance at a glance. Nothing sensitive is stored on your phone.

• RECEIVE — Display your public address and QR code so you can safely receive and store your crypto in self-custody.

• SETTINGS — Quick access to our website, privacy policy, support contact, and app version.

WHAT Ledger HD Wallet IS
Ledger HD Wallet is a self-custody hardware wallet whose only purpose is to generate and protect the private keys of your crypto assets inside a bank-grade secure element. It is an offline storage device — it does not buy, sell, exchange, trade or convert assets on your behalf, connects to no exchange or trading service, and charges no service or trading fees.
