Amazing! Everything you would expect from a Layton game. Overarching plot and lots of fun mysteries to solve along the way. The full version is worth the $5. Only complaint is it crashes my phone but I have a Galaxy S1 so everything does.
Didn't really have any of the charm or ingenuity of the real games - in fact, in gameplay it was completely different. Really disappointed they couldn't maintain what made Layton games amazing.
Great for fans of the series! So far the free logic puzzles are not as hard as the main games (in fact, it's more akin to Ace Attorney), but they are still charming and it looks great. I will definitely be buying the other cases once I am done with the free ones!
I love this game! I originally bought all of the cases on my 1st gen iPad, and I had a blast, until my device became to old to handle the graphics, then it wasn't so much fun. But anyway, this game is awesome and is a must buy!
Amazing! After you buy all the chapters (I think it was less than $8 total...) It was a little bit short, but you're a detective who investigates homicide. Way better than professor Layton's games on the 3ds in my opinion... More realistic characters, and cases that actually stump you sometimes. Also, the first like four cases are free.
Great game but some what lacking This is a well designed game and has potential to be fun (like Phoenix Wright) however it is quite boring as there are no punishments for wrong answers. The game will be more challenging if we actually have lives, where 5 wrong moves will result in a game over. Without this, the game feels too inconsequential (you can just spam answers until you get the right one)
