About this game

It is 100,000 BC. Your people are a small band of hunters around a fire. How far will they go?

Orbis is a pixel-art strategy and civilization game on a real map of the Earth: from the Stone Age to the journey to the stars, across 12 eras.

🌍 A LIVING WORLD
Dozens of peoples are born, expand, trade, go to war and vanish on every continent, Antarctica included. Climate, seasons, ice ages, volcanoes, earthquakes and plagues reshape history.

🏘️ FROM VILLAGE TO MEGACITY
Cities grow from thatched huts to stone towns, to cities with colosseums and cathedrals, all the way to the metropolises and megacities of the future. Houses are rebuilt one by one: villagers walk to the quarry, carry the stones and raise the scaffolding.

👨‍🌾 SMALL STORIES TOO
Zoom in and give orders to farmers who have names: plough, sow, irrigate in a drought, build wells, mills and granaries. Every village has its own weather, seasons and stories.

⚔️ WAR AND DIPLOMACY
Hold an army and drag it wherever you want: inside your borders it marches fast, outside it conquers new land. Fleets with 12 classes of ships, winds and stormy seas, navigable rivers. Alliances, trade, tribute, and peoples asking "Who are you?".

🔬 DISCOVERIES AND FAITHS
From fire to writing, from gunpowder to computers. Inventions spread between peoples through merchants and wars. Found an invented faith and send missionaries across the world.

🏛️ WONDERS AND INFRASTRUCTURE
Aqueducts, dams, roads, railways and stations, harbours, castles, sanctuaries and great works. Link your cities by dragging one onto another.

✨ MADE FOR YOUR PHONE
Automatic saves, a guided tutorial, offline play, no ads and no purchases. Available in 24 languages.

From the first flint to Mars: you write the history.
Lead a people from prehistory to the stars: villages, empires, wars, discoveries
